Apart from various stalls by agricultural companies, a stall by the Nashik Raod Central Jail, showcasing various products made by under trials from furniture, soap to bed-sheets, was a big attractions for visitors to the stalls of ‘Krishithon: 2015’.
Around 170 products are being made by prisoners of the Nashik Road central Jail. The products have been showcased at one of the stalls at the Krishithon, being held at Thakkar’s Dome along the Trimbakeshwar Road in the city.
Ramesh V Kamble, Jail Superintendent, Nashik Road Central Jail, said, “We are participating for the first time in agricultural exhibition in Nashik. Around 170 various products from furniture to soaps and Paithanis are being made by the prisoners of the Nashik Road Central Jail.” He added, “The organiser provided us a stall free of cost to showcase the products made by the under trials.”
He added, “Our major focus to make qualitative products and we have good demand to our products from people.”
